Data Mining Specialist

Job Brief –

We are looking for a Sr. Data Mining Specialist You will be aligned with the sales and marketing organizations in support of data-driven revenue generation efforts. The primary responsibility of this role is the development of data analysis that lead to actionable insights for the purpose of deriving incremental business value. The position will serve as an evangelist for the power of data analytics and present findings and recommendations to key stakeholders, are passionate about solving cutting edge problems and delivering results this role is ideal for you.

Roles & Responsibilities –

Responsible for planning, developing and governing the overall data analytics and big data environment, working with strategic partners to produce performance and capacity metrics to enable timely and accurate management decisions.
In-depth understanding of business pain points, establishment and implementation of data monitoring, operation, analysis, data collaboration and other data-supported systems for each line of business.
Applying advanced statistical modelling, data mining, machine learning methodologies to build data models to solve practical problems and developing innovative methodologies to solve problems that cannot be solved by conventional algorithms.
Use data and algorithms to optimize business processes and decisions to improve business efficiency and user experiences.
Utilize your superior technical aptitude and deep understanding of Machine Learning and Natural Language Processing to create the best Machine Translation solutions for our algorithms.
Communicate and cooperate with business department to apply data model to actual business.
Good in presentation and communication skill, should be able to present his/her ideas and issues to management.
Data reporting: including the development of programs, methodologies and files for interpretation of data and the development of recommendations based on the findings.
Perform statistical analysis for projects and reports as well as create quality dashboards.
Provide support in applying technical and business process expertise through the collection and reporting of organizational metrics.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders leveraging data analytics to provide actionable insights and recommendations that accelerate profitable growth.
Data mining from multiple sources to create integrated views that can be used to drive decision making.
Analyse competitive information to inform Marketing leaders and make recommendations in support of strategic decisions.
Communicate findings to appropriate stakeholders, including executive management, in easy to understand language in both verbal and written format.
Design, develop and maintain reports and visual dashboards.

Qualifications –

Background in the financial industry, familiar with big data risk control of loans and bills.
Strong hands-on expertise with handling structured and unstructured data analytics workflows within a big data platform setting.
experts in data science including algorithms to solve problems, data modelling, SQL Query processing and transactions.
Good business acumen and excellent data analysis skills to develop innovative and practical analytical methods to solve complex business problems.
Experience with analytic scripting in SQL Node JS, SAS, experience in JAVA is preferred

Excellent communication and project management skills.

Bachelor’s degree or above with major in Software Engineering, Computer science or related.

Minimum – 9-10 Years of Experience.

Passion for leveraging and interpreting data to drive significant business impact

Critical thinking skills to recognize patterns and anomalies in data and arrive at new conclusions based upon findings

Effective communication skills both verbal and written to communicate complex findings and ideas in logical, easy to understand and actionable language.

Naturally inquisitive to anticipate and ask that next question “Why”

Attention to detail and vigilant about drawing the correct conclusions

Ability to multitask and prioritize projects with conflicting deadlines.

A team player with the ability and desire to collaborate effectively with stakeholders

Experience working in a data driven digital marketing environment

Experience working with Google Analytics is a plus

Knowledge of statistical tools like SAS, SPSS or Excel Add ins (Data Analysis/Solver) or similar is a plus
